- Send the confirmation and follow-up emails described in our inquiry sequence
- Send the waitlist launch notification you signed up for
- Send post-trip follow-up and referral emails (clients only)
- Understand how people find and use the site so we can improve it
- Show relevant ads to people who have visited the site (via Meta Pixel retargeting)
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties except as described in Section 4.
4. Third Parties We Share Data With
Running this service requires a small number of trusted third-party tools. Here is exactly who receives your data and why:
Resend
Purpose: Sends all transactional and follow-up emails on our behalf.
Data shared: Your name, email address, and the content of each email we send you.

Purpose: Processes planning fee payments.
Data shared: Your name, email, and payment card details. We never see or store card numbers.

Purpose: Tracks site visits, traffic sources, and conversion events so we understand what's working.
Data shared: Anonymised browsing behaviour, approximate location, device type. No personally identifiable information.

Purpose: Allows us to show relevant ads to people who have visited the site and to build lookalike audiences.
Data shared: Page visit events and standard browser data. Governed by Meta's own data policy.

Data shared: Anonymised request data. No personally identifiable information.

We use cookies for analytics and advertising purposes. Specifically:
- Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to distinguish users and sessions (_ga, _ga_XXXXXX).
- Meta Pixel sets cookies to track ad interactions and build retargeting audiences (_fbp, _fbc).
- Vercel does not set persistent cookies beyond session management.
You can opt out of Google Analytics via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can manage Meta ad preferences at facebook.com/ads/preferences. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies in settings.

Your data is transmitted over HTTPS. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers. We take reasonable precautions to protect the information we do store, but no internet transmission is completely secure — please do not send sensitive financial information by email.
9. Children
This service is intended for adults planning golf travel. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy as the service grows. The current version will always be at niblick.travel/privacy with the date of last update.
